Parramatta has continued its charge up the NRL ladder - and recent dominance over Canterbury - storming to an impressive 26-10 win at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.

Chasing their third win in a row, the Eels worked their way to an 8-0 lead at the break before finishing the job in the second half in front of 31,991 fans.

The win was the Eels' seventh in their last eight matches against the Bulldogs and confirms they are well and truly back on track after a poor start to the season.

Five-eighth Kris Keating had his best game of the season for the Eels, scoring a try and setting up three others in a brilliant all-round performance that could see him snatch a City Origin jersey on Sunday night.

Compounding things for the Bulldogs was a broken arm to prop Jarrad Hickey, suffered in his first tackle of the night.

The Bulldogs made most of the early running, spending much of the opening 10 minutes inside Parramatta territory.

But everything Canterbury threw at them, the Eels defence had an answer.

It was never more evident than after just six minutes when Bulldogs skipper Andrew Ryan was held up over the line by some desperate defence by Jarryd Hayne and Joel Reddy.

It was as close as any side came in the opening exchanges as defence dominated for both sides in a tight tussle.

But after withstanding most of the early pressure it was the Eels who opened the scoring on 19 minutes.

On the last tackle inside the Bulldogs 20m zone, Parramatta went to five-eight Kris Keating to put in a deep cross-field kick towards the right-hand side of the field.

Eels winger Krisnan Inu timed his jump to perfection, getting his hand to the ball just before Bulldogs winger Bryson Goodwin, just managing to hold onto it to score out wide.

Luke Burt missed the conversion from the sideline to leave the score at 4-0.

The Eels increased their advantage eight minutes later through a wonderful individual effort by Burt.

After a good move down the right ended with Inu tackled 20 metres out, Burt got himself into dummy-half.

Noticing there was no marker, the veteran winger scooted out himself before grubbering in between two defenders before chasing through and regathering to score. He again missed the conversion for an 8-0 lead at the break.

It took less than three minutes of the second-half for the Eels to increase their advantage.

Reddy charged onto a Daniel Mortimer pass just 10metres out from the try line and brushed through some weak Bulldogs defence on the left side to score beside the posts.

Burt this time slotted the conversion and the Eels had a healthy 14-0 lead.

But just as it looked like Parramatta might go on post a big win, the Bulldogs his back through Idris.

The giant young centre can give a lot of credit to hooker Michael Ennis though with the feisty No.9 charging down Jarryd Hayne's kick, with Idris picking up the loose ball for an easy 25m run to the line.

Goodwin converted and all of a sudden the Bulldogs were back in the game down just 14-6.

But any hope Canterbury had of conjuring a late comeback were snuffed out by the "Hayne Train" 16 minutes from fulltime.

Lurking around the middle of the field, the 2009 Dally M Player of the Year received a sublime inside pass from the impressive Keating to burst through a gap and sprint past Bulldogs fullback Luke Patten to score out wide.

Astonishingly it was Hayne's first try of the season. When Burt's conversion gave the home side a 14-point lead the game was safe.

Bulldogs centre Junior Tia Kilifi marked his debut with a try late on but it was fitting Keating had the final say close to fulltime with his try.
