The Bulldogs bulldozed a lacklustre Canberra 30-12 in a National Rugby League match the Raiders would prefer to forget.

The Bulldogs, spearheaded by an in-form Mark O'Meley, completely dominated the Raiders at Canberra Stadium and kept the home side scoreless until the 67th minute.

The final scoreline was flattering to the exhausted Raiders, who were forced to spend most of the match in defence and only saved complete embarrassment when halfback Todd Carney scored two late tries.

Bulldogs winger Trent Cutler, 22, opened the scoring when he crossed for his first career try in the 14th minute off a pass from centre Willie Tonga, who made the try scoring break.

Kicking maestro Hazem El Masri converted the try and added penalty goals in the 21st and 29th minutes for a 10-0 lead.

Captain Andrew Ryan scored in the 38th minute to give his team a 16-0 halftime advantage before fullback Luke Patten and centre Andrew Emelio crossed Canberra's line in the 46th and 60th minutes to leave Canberra trailing 28-0.

Canberra halfback Todd Carney finally broke the home team's drought when he scored in the 67th and 70th minutes, with skipper Clinton Schifcofske converting both.

It was nothing but bad news for Canberra with centre Adam Mogg rushed to hospital in an ambulance for precautionary X-rays after suffering a neck injury in a tackle with his own team-mate Jason Smith.
