Adam Perry joined Canterbury in 1997 as a hooker.
Adam was a regular member of the Under 19 team and played in the Preliminary Final against Penrith.
In 1998, Adam started the season in the Flegg team and was promoted to reserve grade mid-season. He played in the Premiership winning team against Parramatta from the bench.
In 1999, Adam started the season in reserve grade and received the opportunity to play in the NRL against the Roosters when Jason Hetherington was injured. He became a regular member of the team.
In 2000, Adam started the season in the NRL before being relegated for Jason Hetherington. He became a regular member of the 1st Division team and played in the Premiership winning team against Penrith.
In 2001, Adam started the season in the NRL but missed most of the season due to an ankle injury. He returned during the finals to play in the Semi-Final against Cronulla.
In 2002, Adam started the season in the Premier League and was called into the NRL when regular players were unavailable. Injuries hampered Adam's season.
In 2003, Adam started the season in the NRL and became a regular member of the team. He played in the Preliminary Final against the Roosters.
In 2004, Adam was a regular member of the team and played at starting hooker in the Premiership winning team against the Roosters.
In 2005, Adam started the season in the NRL but suffered leg injuries that limited his season.
In 2006, Adam started the season in the NRL but was relegated mid-season for Reni Maitua. He returned to the NRL when Tony Grimaldi was injured and played in the Preliminary Final against Brisbane.
In 2004, Adam was nominated for the Berries to Bulldogs 70 Year Team of Champions.
