Jon Green impressed the Bulldogs in season 2006 with his professionalism and terrific attitude.
The 21-year-old was born on the Gold Coast and represented Western Australia in the junior league. He was then graded at the Cronulla Sharks, playing one year of Jersey Flegg and two years of Premier League.
Jon got his chance in first grade last season when Nate Myles was injured - making his debut off the bench against the Wests Tigers in Round 2 at Telstra Stadium.
He got another shot at the big time in Round 5 against the Canberra Raiders, making 17 tackles, eight hitups and 54 metres in the 25 minutes he spent on the field.
Jon was a tough forward who is always looking for the action. He was chosen in the NRL Rookie Camp in January - a camp consisting of 64 young players on the verge of big things.
In 2007, Jon played four games in the top grade and 18 in Premier League.
In 2008, Jon joined St George Illawarra.
