Weighing in at 106kg, Mark O'Meley has shown plenty of opponents why he is rated one of the best props in the game.

With his no-self-preservation attititude, Mark thrives on the contest up front and rarely takes a backward step, leaving many opposing forwards with splitting headaches after throwing his large frame into the mix.

He has an intimidating presence in the engine room along with exceptional strength, ability to offload and his surprising mobility.

Before joining the Bulldogs in 2002, he played 22 games for North Sydney in 1999 as a prop forward.

In 2000, Mark joined the Northern Eagles to play 34 games from 2000 to 2001 before playing for NSW is 2001. In total he has played 10 games for NSW from 2001 to 2006 and has played 15 Tests for Australia from 2004 to 2006. The 25-year-old was selected in the Tri-Nations tours in 2004 and 2005.

When he made his way out to Belmore in 2002 he immediately became a regular member of the team and has done so for the past five years, playing just one game in the lower grade last season when he requested more game time. However his first season with the club saw him miss several matched due to a jaw injury.

In 2003, he played in the Preliminary Final loss against the Roosters before getting revenge when the Bulldogs won the premiership the following year 16-13 at Telstra Stadium.

In season 2005, Mark suffered leg injuries that impacted on his season, playing a total of just 14 games before returning to his damaging best in 2006.

He appeared in 20 club matches (992 minutess), all three State of Origin games for NSW and three Tests for Australia in the Tri-Nations series.

In season 2007, Mark played 16 games, a total of 798 minutes. The big prop forward produced 243 hitups, 2092 metres gained and 27 offloads.

In 2008, Mark joined the Roosters until the end of the 2011 season.

On 1st August 2015, Mark was named in the team of the decade as part of the clubs 80th Year celebrations.
