Sonny Bill Williams produced one of the most dominant displays in his short but illustrious career as the Bulldogs belted the Sydney Roosters 38-6 in their NRL clash at Telstra Stadium.
The Kiwi superstar scored two tries, but could have easily had two more, and set up another as he completely overpowered the Roosters in front of 20,722 fans.
Prop Jarrad Hickey and winger Cameron Phelps both scored twice also, Phelps' double coming within three minutes, as the Bulldogs continued their midseason charge with their seventh win of the season to move into 10th place on the NRL table.
Williams, 21, wasn't the only Bulldog carving up the chooks, with halfback Brent Sherwin enjoying his best game of the year to have a hand in five of his side's seven tries.
The Bulldogs led 16-6 at half-time, Williams extending the lead to 16 points when he dived on Sherwin's grubber for his second try of the night in the 49th minute.
Williams scored his first try when he stepped past two defenders after a Sherwin inside flick pass, the halfback's conversion giving the Dogs a 12-0 lead after as many minutes.
He almost scored in the second minute when his out-stretched right arm hovered above the grass before defenders dragged him back into play and dislodged the ball in the process.
Williams was denied another try in the 33rd minute when he again reached out in a gang tackle, this time grounding the ball only for video referee Chris Ward to controversially rule the Kiwi superstar did not quite reach the chalk.
He wasted little time making amends, setting up centre Daryl Millard five minutes later with an one-handed lob over the top of the defender.
Williams was eventually rested in the 73rd minute and received a standing ovation from the blue and white army.
It was a forgettable night for the Roosters, with teenage halfback Mitchell Pearce having a diabolical start with two penalty kicks for touch not reaching the sideline.
Pearce had passed an earlier fitness test on his back to play, but didn't return after the break due to the same injury and will be sent for scans on Tuesday.
Lopini Paea claimed the Roosters only try in the 28th minute.
But their mistakes were unforgivable, replacement forward Frank-Paul Nuuausala ignoring four support players to blow an absolute sitter of a try in the 22nd minute.
Fullback Amos Roberts was placed on report for a high shot on Aaron Wheatley late in the game.
