Wayne Peckham played 41 games for Penrith between 1967 and 1969 as a centre.

Wayne joined Canterbury in 1970 and played in the winning Pre-Season Final against St George. He became a regular member of the reserve grade team and played in the Semi-Final against Balmain.

After starting the season in the second-row in reserve grade, Wayne became a regular first grade player by playing on the wing.

After starting the 1972 season in reserve grade, Wayne was selected in first grade when John Rhodes was injured but did not finish the season due to injury.

Wayne passed away in October 2016.
