Vince Everingham joined Canterbury in 1958 as a centre.

After playing the initial first grade game of the season against Parramatta, Vince played his final games for the club in the lower grades, mainly as a lock forward.

He went to play for NSW in 1962 after representing Western Division against Great Britain. Vince returned to Sydney to play five games for Newtown in 1963.
