Shane Perry played eight games for Western Suburbs in 1999 as a five eighth.
In 2000, Shane joined the Bulldogs to become a regular member of the 1st Division team. He received the opportunity to play in the NRL against St George Illawarra when Adam Perry was injured early in the season. Shane returned to 1st Division to play in the Premiership winning team against Penrith.
In 2001, Shane was a regular member of the 1st Division team. In 2002 he joined Redcliffe in the Queensland Cup competition.
In 2006, Shane joined Brisbane to become a regular member of the team and play in the Premiership winning team against Melbourne as a half back.
