Scott Davey joined Canterbury in 1992 as a fullback.
Scott progressed through the grades and received the opportunity to play first grade against Newcastle as a replacement. He was a regular member of the reserve grade team in his initial season.
After starting the 1993 season in the Under 21s, Scott progressed to reserve grade but his season was cut short by injury.
In 1994, Scott became a regular member of the reserve grade team playing centre and played in the Semi-Final against St George.
In 1995, Scott was a regular member of the reserve grade team.
In 1996, Scott joined Parramatta to play four games in first grade that season.
