Ryan Tandy joined the Bulldogs in 2010 mid-season following the salary cap breaches at his former club Melbourne.

Ryan was thrown a lifeline by the Bulldogs and made his debut immediately for the blue-and-whites, coming off the bench against the Titans at Suncorp Stadium.

Ryan played in the 2009 Grand Final for Melbourne, a club where he managed just 16 appearances between 2009-10.

The prop also played for St George Illawarra, South Sydney, Wests Tigers along with spending some time in England playing for Hull.

Ryan an Ireland international played four matches between 2006-08.

Unfortunately, Ryan was involved in a betting scandal and on Friday March 18 2011, the Bulldogs terminated his contract following a show cause hearing before the Board.

Ryan Tandy passed away on 28th April 2014, aged 32.
