Ross Henderson joined Canterbury in 1945 as a lock forward.

He made his first grade debut in the first game of the 1945 season when Ted Anderson was unavailable.

Ross maintained his position in the reserve grade team and played in the Grand Final against South Sydney.

Ross passed away in February 2007.
