Raymond Faitala-Mariner joined the Bulldogs from the NZ Warriors during 2016.
In 2017 Raymond finished the NRL season playing 16 games.
New coach Dean Pay starting him from the beginning of the 2018 campaign as he looked to utilise his great running game.
The back-rower managed 13 appearances in 2018 before suffering a PCL knee injury and a broken hand while playing for New Zealand in their defeat to England in the Denver Test. That injury ruled him out for the remainder of the season.
The hard-running 25-year old second rower started in all 13 matches in 2018 and provided plenty of impact with his aggressive running style and ability to offload. The Kiwi International provided 23 offloads, averaged 77.8 running metres and 26 tackles per game, came up with 39 tackle breaks and had a tackle efficiency of 90%.
The back-rower managed 10 NRL appearances in 2019, scored 2 tries, averaged 82.1 running metres per game with a tackle efficiency of 89.9%. He played his 50th NRL match for the club in 2019 against the Rabbitohs in round 22.
2020 will be Raymond's fifth season with the club.
