Peter Considine joined Canterbury in 1954 as a centre.

The brother of Newtown winger Kevin Considine, Peter quickly progressed through the grades to secure a regular spot in the first grade team as a winger.

In 1955 & 1956, Peter only played a hand full of games and returned to third grade late in 1958.

Peter became a regular member of the third grade team in 1959 and played the semi-final against Newtown as fullback.

Peter played one more season in 1960 before retiring.

Peter passed away in October 2019.
