Paul Rauhihi played 19 games for Newcastle from 1999 to 2000 as a prop forward.

In 2001, Paul joined the Bulldogs and was a regular member of the NRL team for two seasons. He played in the Semi-Final against Cronulla from the bench.

In 2002, Paul played for New Zealand. He has played 17 Tests from 2002 to 2005.

In 2003, Paul joined North Queensland to play 72 games from 2003 to 2005. He played in the 2005 Grand Final against the Wests Tigers before joining Warrington in 2006.
