Nick Youngquest made his first grade debut with the Cronulla Sharks in Round 1 of 2003 against the Melbourne Storm at Toyota Park on March 16.

He went on to play a further four NRL games that season before joining St George Illawarra in 2004 where he played 10 first grade games until the end of season 2005.

In 2006, Nick joined the Penrith Panthers where he played 18 first grade games, scoring 66 points. In late 2007, Youngquest agreed to a one-year deal with the Wests Tigers, his fourth club in six years.

On May 22 of 2008, Nick signed with the Bulldogs after being granted a release from the Wests Tigers and the following week, due to the departure of Cameron Phelps to Wigan and injuries to Luke Patten and Brent Crisp, he was called upon to make his first grade debut for the club against Melbourne.

Nick managed just four games in the top grade and in 2009 he switched codes to rugby union and the French Top 14 competition side Pia.
