Michael Sullivan made his first grade debut with the Northern Eagles on the 30th of July 2000 against the Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium.
A specialist hooker who can also play half back, Sullivan went on to join Cronulla in 2002 after playing just one game with the Northern Eagles. His career with the Sharks lasted until the end of 2005 after 61 first grade games and 53 points.
In 2006, Michael joined English club Warrington where he played 38 games and scored eight tries over a two-year period. A broken arm in July 2007 sidelined Sullivan for 6-8 weeks after an operation to plate it was required.
In that same month, whilst beginning his recovery from a broken arm, Michael put pen-to-paper with the Bulldogs and signed on for seasons 2008 and 2009.
Bulldogs coach Steven Folkes commented; "With all the talk about NRL players going to England, he's bucking that trend and coming back.
"Michael will be very handy for us, particularly around the ruck."
With the departure of hooker Adam Perry, Michael will be pushing for the top job at the Bulldogs in 2008.
In 2008, he made his first grade debut for the club in round 1 against Parramatta coming off the bench.
A series of injuries have really stifled "Sulli's" progress after some very encouraging performances in pre-season trials.
Whilst only light in weight, he is full of courage and plays well above his weight. Very creative out of dummy half, he has the ability to blow opposition ruck's apart if his forwards can get a roll on.
