Mark Brokenshire played 24 games for Manly from 1987 to 1988 as a prop.

In 1990, Mark joined Canterbury and became a regular member of the first grade team for the next five seasons.

In 1991, Mark played in the play-offs and in 1993, played in the Preliminary Final against Brisbane.

In 1994, Mark played his last game for the club as a replacement in the Grand Final against Canberra.

In 2004, Mark was nominated for the Berries to Bulldogs 70 Year Team of Champions.
