Malcolm Jones joined Canterbury in 1953 as a second rower.
In 1954, Malcolm secured a reserve grade position and received an opportunity to play first grade against Easts (Roosters).
In 1955, Malcolm became a regular member of the first grade team. In 1956, he returned to be a regular in reserve grade.
Malcolm passed away in 2018.
