Lorenzo Ma'afu was graded from the East Hills club at the start of the 2007 season as second row forward playing in the Flegg Cup team.

He became a regular member of the Flegg Cup team and in 2008, Lorenzo commenced the season in NSW Cup.

In Round 9 of the 2008 NRL season he made his NRL debut for the Bulldogs against Penrith.

 In 2009, Lorenzo joined the Ipswich Jets.
