Lloyd White joined Canterbury in 1957 playing his initial game as a centre.
The brother of Jack White, Lloyd played hooker and became a regular member of the reserve grade team for six seasons from 1958 to 1962.
He received the opportunity to play first grade when Fred Anderson was injured.
Lloyd played in the reserve grade Preliminary Final against North Sydney in 1959 and played in the reserve grade Semi Final against Parramatta in 1962.
He finished his playing career by playing in the 1963 reserve grade Preliminary Final against South Sydney.
On 12th December 1976, Lloyd was awarded Life Membership of the Football Club.
Lloyd has continued his services to the club in different capacities since his retirement and has been the Premier League Manager, for many seasons.
Lloyd passed away in August 2016.
