Leo Trevena played 29 games for Western Suburbs from 1950 to 1953, as half back, including the Premiership winning team of 1952.
In 1954, Leo joined Canterbury to be the first grade captain for the season. He captained Canterbury on 11 occasions.
Leo also played one season with Parramatta in 1957, playing only two first grade games. He went to Young before becoming captain-coach of the emerging Penrith club in the Parramatta district competition. Leo was coach of Penrith in their inaugural season in 1967.
Leo was to coach Penrith again in 1973 after Bob Boland was sacked from the club.
Leo passed away in July 2013.
