Lachlan Burr was born in Sydney, he played his junior football for the Revesby Heights Rhinos before being signed by the Bulldogs.
Lachlan was a talented youngster who attended Picnic Point High school and represented the Australian Schoolboys side in 2010.
During school, Lachlan also played for the Bulldogs' NYC team from 2009 to 2012 with great success.
Lachlan played most of 2013 in the Bulldogs NSW Cup side where he let his footy do the talking, winning the Bulldogs NSW Cup Player of the Year award and sparking the interest of NRL Head Coach Des Hasler.
In Round 25 of the 2013 NRL season, Lachlan made his NRL debut and helped the Bulldogs to a 34-14 win against Penrith.
On 4 September 2014, Lachlan signed a 2 year contract with the
Gold Coast Titans starting in 2015.
On 21 September 2014, Lachlan was named on the interchange bench in the New South Wales Cup Team of the Year.
In 2018, Lachlan rejoined the Bulldogs and played in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW. He was
named player of the year and was part of the Canterbury side which won the
Intrust Super Premiership NSW grand final defeating Newtown 18-12 at Leichhardt
Oval. The following week, Lachlan played for Canterbury in their NRL State
Championship victory over Redcliffe at ANZ Stadium.
In 2019, Lachlan moved to Auckland to play with the New Zealand Warriors.
