Keith Gersbach joined Canterbury late in 1945 as a winger.

Keith received the chance to play first grade when Ron Bailey was injured.

In reserve grade, Keith played in the 1945 Grand Final against South Sydney.

In 1946, Keith secured a wing position in first grade but was unlucky to be injured for the finals.

In 1947, Keith joined Parramatta for the inaugural season. He went on to play 24 games between 1947 and 1948.

Keith passed away in June 2015.
