Justin Murphy joined the Bulldogs in 1999 as a winger.

Justin became a regular member of the reserve grade team and played in the Semi-Final against Canberra.

In 2000, Justin was a regular member of the 1st Division team and received the opportunity to play in the NRL against Brisbane when Gavin Lester was injured. He returned to 1st Division to play in the Premiership winning team from the bench.

In 2001, Justin joined the Warriors to play 43 games from 2001 to 2004. He played in the Grand Final against the Roosters in 2002.

In 2005, Justin joined the Catalan Dragons.
