Jim Hall joined Canterbury in 1965 as a second row forward.
Progressing through the grades, Jim received the opportunity to play first grade against Parramatta as prop late in the season when John Conna was relegated.
Jim started the 1966 season in first grade but was relegated when Merv Hicks arrived from England. Jim managed to play further matches in first grade when Kevin Goldspink was injured.
In 1967, Jim became a regular member of the reserve grade team and in 1968 he joined Penrith to play seven first grade games that season.
In 1969, Jim joined Easts (Roosters) to play 26 first grade games between 1969 and 1970. In 1973, Jim joined South Sydney to play 11 first grade games that season.
Jim later became the Commissioner of the NRL Judiciary in 1998 and after resigning from this role, he has become a director of the Football Club.
