Jack Fallon joined Canterbury in 1946 as a second rower.

In 1947, Jack became the regular reserve grade lock and his good form gave him the opportunity to play first grade when George Kilham was injured.

Jack played in the 1947 semi-final and final but was unlucky to be injured and missed the 1947 Grand Final.
