Jack Bradley joined Canterbury in 1951 as a second row forward.

Progressing through the grades, Jack made his first grade debut when Jim Tutill was injured.

From 1952 to 1954, Jack was a regular in first grade. In 1955, he joined Western Suburbs to play in the lower grades.

After retirement Jack, became a first grade referee. In 1962, Jack refereed the 1962 Grand Final between St George and Western Suburbs.

In 1963, Jack became a Test referee. He retired from refereeing in 1969.
