Grahame Faint joined Canterbury in 1971 as a centre.

After rising to reserve grade, Grahame was relegated to third grade and played in the Premiership winning team on the wing.

In 1972, Grahame was a regular member of the reserve grade team and received the opportunity to play first grade against South Sydney.

In 1973, Grahame became a regular member of the third grade team and played in the Preliminary Final against Balmain.

Grahame returned in 1978 for a brief spell in reserve grade.
