Graham Tonks joined Canterbury in 1961 as a five eighth.
Progressing through the grades, Graham moved to the centre position before receiving an opportunity to play wing in first grade against Parramatta.
In 1962, Graham was a regular winger in reserve grade and in 1963, he mainly played in third grade and was apart of the Grand Final against St George which was his last game for the club.
