Geoff Robinson joined Canterbury in 1976 as a second row forward.
Geoff became a regular member of the Under 23 team and played in the Grand Final against Easts (Roosters) as prop.
In 1977, Geoff was a regular member of the reserve grade team and received the opportunity to play first grade against North Sydney.
In 1978, Geoff continued as a regular member of the reserve grade team and was used often as a first grade replacement.
Geoff played in the first grade Preliminary Semi-Final against Parramatta as a replacement.
In 1979, Geoff started the season in first grade and secured his position, as prop, for the next six seasons.
Geoff was injured midway through the season to miss the finals but returned in 1980 to play in the Premiership winning team against Easts (Roosters).
Geoff played on in the 1981 and 1982 seasons and played in the Preliminary Final against Parramatta in 1983.
In 1984, Geoff played in the starting team until shortly before the finals. He was a replacement in the Premiership winning team.
After playing for Halifax in the off-season, Geoff returned to play in reserve grade in 1985 and was a replacement in the reserve grade Semi-Final against Canberra.
In 1986, Geoff returned to first grade and played his last game as a replacement in the Grand Final against Parramatta.
In 1990, Geoff became coach of the Under 21 team.
He was coach from 1990 to 1992 and coached the Premiership winning team in 1991 - a team that included Glen Hughes, Craig Polla Mounter, Jason Smith, Darren Senter, Robert Relf and Barry Ward.
In 2004 Geoff was nominated for the Berries to Bulldogs 70 Year Team of Champions and is a Life Member of the Football Club.
In 2007, Geoff is coach of the Chester Hill Jim Beam Cup side in Sydney.
