Don Moseley joined Canterbury in 1973 as a goal kicking centre.

Don played in all positions in the backline and was promoted to reserve grade in time for the finals to play fullback.

Don played in the Semi-Final against Newtown.

In 1974, Don started the season in Under 23s but was soon a regular member of the reserve grade team. He received the opportunity to play first grade against Parramatta.

Don secured the half back position from Phil Young mid-season to play in the Grand Final against Easts (Roosters).

In 1975, Don started the season as first grade five eighth but by mid-season was relegated to reserve grade for Phil Young and played in the Preliminary Semi-Final against Cronulla as a half back.

In 1976, Don started the season in first grade as centre but after playing fullback while Garry Dowling was injured, he was moved to the wing for the rest of the season and played in the Preliminary Final against Manly.

Don finished the season by playing in the Combined Sydney team that toured New Zealand.

Don joined Western Suburbs in 1977 to play 49 games between 1977 and 1979 mainly playing five eighth but eventually moving to lock.
