Darryl Brohman played 92 games for Penrith from 1979 to 1987 as a prop in two stints.

In 1983, Darryl played the first of two games for Queensland. His jaw was broken by a Les Boyd elbow which ended his season. His second game for Queensland was in 1986.

In 1984, Darryl joined Canterbury and after starting the season late, played in the Premiership winning team against Parramatta, as a replacement.

In 1985, Darryl was used as a replacement forward in first grade and was a regular member of the reserve grade team. He played in the Semi-Final against Canberra.

Darryl returned to Penrith and played in the reserve grade Premiership winning team in 1987. 

Darryl became coach of Brisbane's reserve grade in 1988.

Darryl returned to Canterbury to coach reserve grade in 1989.
