Danny Williams was a Queensland U/19 representative and a Junior Kangaroo. He made his first grade debut with the Roosters on the 9th of June 2007 against North Queensland at the Sydney Football Stadium and was then upgraded to their fulltime squad where he played a further four games.

After the Roosters signed former Bulldog Willie Mason, Danny was recruited out to Belmore with a giant warning sticker from the man who plucked him from Queensland's scrub - Rugby League legend Arthur Beetson.

"Danny Williams is a kid about to do something big. He's genuinely tough, mobile and can play before the line.Everyone reckons big is beautiful these days but you still need balance. Danny may not be as big as some others but he has speed, skills, mobility and can whack in defence."

In 2008 Danny made his first grade debut for the club off the bench in round 1 against Parramatta.

In 2009, Danny captained the Bulldogs feeder club, the Bankstown Bulls NSW Cup premiership winning team against Balmain Ryde.

In 2010, Danny was a member of the Bulldogs NSW Cup premiership winning team against Windsor.
