Corey Allan joined the Bulldogs in 2021 from South Sydney on a three-year deal.

In Round 1 of the 2021 season, he made his debut for Canterbury in a 32-16 loss against Newcastle. Corey made a total of 18 appearances for Canterbury in the 2021 season as the Club finished last and claimed the Wooden Spoon.

After a frustrating run of injury, Corey fought his way back into the Canterbury first grade side midway through the 2022 season, returning against the defending premiers Penrith Panthers and also featuring in wins against Parramatta and Wests Tigers.

On 8 December 2022, Allan was released by Canterbury with a year remaining on his contract. 

The following day, Corey signed a contract to join the Sydney Roosters for the 2023 season.
