Colin Goldspink joined Canterbury in 1964 as a hooker. Prior to joining the club he represented Riverina.

The brother of Kevin Goldspink, Colin started in first grade at the start of the season against Parramatta but was injured mid-season.

After starting in reserve grade in 1965, Colin missed most of the season, once again through injury.
