A promising prop forward, Charlie Leaeno agreed to join the Bulldogs for the 2008 and 2009 NRL season's back in June 2007.

Bulldogs coach Steven Folkes commented; "Charlie is a big strong front rower. He'll come to us with the knowledge that with a good off-season he'll be in the mix for a spot in the 17."

Charlie was with the Dragons club since 2002 and has scored three tries in six first grade games.

Charlie made his first grade debut for the Dragons on the 7th of May 2006 against Cronulla at Toyota Park where he scored two tries. He went on to play a further five matches in the top grade before having his season cut short due to a shoulder injury.

In 2008 Charlie played seven games in NSW Cup before receiving the call up to make his first grade debut with the club against Melbourne following injuries to props Chris Armit and Jarrad Hickey.

In 2009, Charlie was a member of the Bulldogs feeder club, the Bankstown Bulls NSW Cup premiership winning team against Balmain Ryde.

In 2010, Charlie joined the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in the Super League.
