Brett Dallas joined Canterbury in 1992 as a winger.
Brett was a regular member of the Under 21 team but progressed through the grades and received the opportunity to play first grade against Cronulla as a replacement.
In 1993, Brett started the season in first grade and was selected to play for Queensland. He played in the Preliminary Final against Brisbane.
Brett played 10 matches for Queensland from 1993 to 1997. He played six Tests for Australia from 1995 to 1996. Brett was a member of the 1995 World Cup squad.
In 1994, Brett started the season in first grade playing centre but returned to the wing. He was relegated for Jason Williams and became a regular member of the reserve grade team and played in the Semi-Final against St George.
In 1995, Brett started the season in first grade. After being relegated mid-season for Jason Williams, Brett returned to first grade when Jason Williams was injured and played in the Preliminary Final against Canberra.
A hamstring injury prevented Brett from playing in the Premiership winning team against Manly a week later.
In 1996, Brett joined North Sydney to play 57 games from 1996 to 1999.
In 2000, Brett joined Wigan for a successful career and retired from the game at the end of 2006 season.
