The 25-year-old New Zealander has incredible agility and his fancy footwork has bamboozled many a player in both the Premier League and during his short stint in the NRL.
Ngawini joined the Bulldogs in 2006 as a half back. Originally recruited from North Sydney, he became a regular member of the Premier League side, mostly playing hooker.
He received the opportunity to play in the NRL in Round 10 against Parramatta when both Corey Hughes and Adam Perry were injured. He went on to play a further two games in the top grade against the Sharks the following week and then in Round 14 against Canberra.
Billy Ngawini was a member of the NZ A side that beat the Kangaroo XIII in 2005. He has a rugby union background having been contracted to the Chiefs Super 12 franchise for four years.
In 2001 he was selected in the All Black 7s training squad with the likes of Joe Rokocoko and Eric Rush.
He is particularly strong around the rucks as either a dynamic runner or skilful ball distributor.
In 2008 Billy joined the Gold Coast Titans.
