Ben Harris joined the Bulldogs in 2001 as a lock forward.

Ben became a regular member of the Flegg team and played in the Premiership winning team against Cronulla in the second row.

In 2002, Ben started the season playing centre in the Premier League before receiving the opportunity to play in the NRL against St George Illawarra when Willie Talau was injured. He returned to the Premier League to play in the Premiership winning team against St George Illawarra.

In 2003, Ben started the season in the Premier League but was promoted to the NRL when Willie Talau was injured. He became a regular member of the team and played in the Preliminary Final against the Roosters.

In 2004, Ben started the season late and did not return to the NRL until mid-season when Matthew Utai was relegated. He played at centre in the Premiership winning team against the Roosters.

Ben is one of three players to play in Premiership winning teams in all three grades for the club. The other two are Johnathan Thurston and Matt Utai.

In 2005, Ben started the season late due to a shoulder injury before departing the club mid-season to join the Bradford Bulls.

In season 2008 Ben joined the North Queensland Cowboys.
