Alister Clarke played 13 games for St George from 1942 to 1945 as a second rower.
Amongst those 13 appearances was the 1942 Grand Final where Canterbury beat St George 11-9.
Alister then joined Canterbury in 1947 mainly playing in the reserve grade.
Alister received his initial chance in first grade when Henry Porter missed a game early in the season.
Late in the season, injuries to George Kilham and Jack Fallon gave Alister a chance to play his second Grand Final.
